Scribophile logo on navy blue

We are sponsored by Scribophile, check them out for building your writing group, finding beta reader, or just looking for a crit from someone who’s not related to you!

Illustration of people standing on a pile of books, NaNoWriMo Writer 2021It’s been a rough week. Family illness and hospitalization has returned, and freelance work has kicked my butt. So I’ve broken all the streaks, podcasting and writing, but Valerie Valdes is here to help cheer me up.

The very very cool thing is that I got cover art for Station Eternity in the middle of the live recording. And I can’t post it yet! AUGH!

Valerie and I also argue about whether running into bodies in space is a good plot point. Frankly, I love it. She’s not convinced.

Remember, if you get the free wisdom.audio app, you can pop on and talk to me live next time I stream on this platform!

I’m also on the Wisdom app now*! I’m just giving it a test, and there aren’t a lot of people on, but if you get it and see i’m on, you can listen and maybe get a chance to chat (voice) with me.

*This app is free, and I’m not being paid for endorsing. It’s very new and there aren’t a lot — okay, ANY — of people talking about writing there yet, so it gets lonely when I listen to talks about life coaching.

[NaNo] Day 6: Snacks, and a Live Visit From a Romance Writer!

Illustration of people standing on a pile of books, NaNoWriMo Writer 2021I was delighted to be talking about snacks today, when another NaNoWriMo writer joined my Wisdom stream.

(I haven’t said this, but one person joined and it was odd and he just wanted to talk about podcasting, so I cut that part. But this time it was a writer.)

So we talked self pub and Amazon Vellum and romance and pen names (he writes under a secret pen name with his partner, otherwise I would give him more of a shoutout.)
