Autographed Copies of PFK
I’ve gotten several questions on how people can get signed copies of Playing For Keeps if they missed me at DragonCon or aren’t close to any of my signings. I have two options:
- Sally from Park Road Books in Charlotte, where I’m signing this Sunday (2pm), had this to say:
We’d be happy to help if you want to send people our way. I know that it’s so easy to hit and button or two and have Amazon send a book anywhere, but independent booksellers are also here to help their communities by doing such things as having signings for authors (as powerful as they are, Amazon still cannot fulfill this need for authors), giving donations for fundraisers, and simply be there for their customers. [ed.- I assume just email them for information on how to do this.]
I’m all for supporting the indie book stores, and this one is hosting a signing for me when a local store was incredibly rude and unhelpful, so if you don’t have your copy yet and you want it signed, consider getting one through Park Road Books.
- The other option will cost a little more than the Park Road Books option: get your book from your favorite retailer, mail it with a postage paid envelope to me and I’ll sign it and send it right back.

Hey mur, have you considered doing the bookplate stickers? I know OSC does that sort of thing where you pay $1 and he sends a sticker with the inscription to go inside the book.

I’ll be sending mine down when I’m done reading it…. PS.. I was the first to review your book on Barnes & Nobles… And I’m not even finished reading it… Very Good Job Mur, keep up the good work.
