DragonCon Schedule

As most of you know, I don’t miss DragonCon unless I’m 8 months pregnant and the doctor, my husband, and my parents put a blockade around my house. (a la 2002) So tomorrow I head southward again.

My schedule:
Title: I Should Be Writing Episode 100 Celebration LIVE!
Description: Award winning author and podcaster Mur Lafferty brings her I Should be Writing show to Dragon*Con to celebrate it’s 100th episode.

Title: The Third Annual Parsec Awards
Description: Join us for the Third Annual Parsec Awards hosted by some your favorite podcasters. The Parsec Award is available for Sci-fi & Fantasy Original Content, Speculative Fiction and a variety of other categories dealing with the new frontiers of Portable Media.
Time: Sat 07:00 pm
Length: 2.5 Hours

Title: Dragon*AutoGraph
Description:
Time: Sun 04:00 pm
Length: 1 Hour

Title: Writing for Small Presses and Magazines
Description: So the big New York publishers don’t think your novel or story fits. What do you do with it now? Is there a niche for your work?
Time: Sun 05:30 pm
Length: 1 Hour

Title: Talk Back to the Podcasters!
Description: Are you a rabid fan of podcasting or even a certain podcaster? Come go all “fan boy” on the podcasters.  No question is off limits.

[I likely will miss the last one- 6 hour drive home, kid in school the next day, and all that...]

    If we can’t make it to the Dragon*AutoGraph session, are we allowed to grovel for an autograph on our PFK copy at another time if we see you?

    Now I get to obsessively check my mail for my PFK shipment from Amazon. I don’t think it will get here before I get on my plane Friday morning. Sadness.

    And one bonus session: Friday at 10 PM as the guest of the live taping of an episode of Reality Break Podcast and Evil Genius Chronicles. We’ll be raffling off a prize pack: a copy of PLAYING FOR KEEPS and an EGC stuff package. It’s a bribe^H^H^H reward for coming to a session on a Friday night. Be there or be square.

    Wish I could be there but its a long way from the UK for a podcaster who uses an old bean Tin with string to record his show.
