Wait. So once upon a time, even Ira Glass sucked? Unpossible! But sure enough, the little clip that he played -did-, in fact, suck. That’s encouraging!
Thank you, I really needed to hear this on the day I ceremoniously printed out my first draft and then started to read the 52,000 words of utter crap. I will keep going!
(Although don’t you ever wish that you’d started this 8 years ago so you could have got past this part already?!!)
IMHO Mr Glass is another public radio talking head with nothing to say and too much air time. Public radio picked him up when they found out it would be cheaper to have him blab for an hour at a time than pay ASCAP and BMI to play actual artists’ music on the air.
