The News From Poughkeepsie - Day 1
April 22nd, 2008 • Related • Filed Under
What if someone told the entire epic story of the Bible via a garden? There’s heaven of the air, earth of, well, the earth, water gardens for Moses and Noah’s story (and a koi pond for Jonah!), rock gardens for desert stories, red flowers for the bloody stories, dogwoods for Christ’s story, etc.
And what if the world started to end as the Gardener planted Revelation? Would s/he be God? The Second Coming? And what would s/he plant after Revelation?

Oh, the river of life that runs through the garden … or the trees with fruit for the healing of the nations … and don’t forget the lake of fire. It’s a big, big garden to have the whole story in it.

I’d suggest reading the Book of Enoch for some ideas. It is an interesting read that elaborates on the events of Genesis leading up to the flood. There is plenty of material there.
